Plan your weekend in Benton. From early morning ground prep to the final class under the lights, we keep Western Kentucky's riding traditions running strong.

2026 Show Dates

Gates open at 4:00 PM. Flat Classes begin at 5:00 PM. Speed Classes begin at 7:30 PM. Ground prep is completed before every speed class to ensure safe, high-standard competition.

Are negative Coggins required?

What happens in bad weather?

Yes. Kentucky state law requires proof of a negative Coggins test within the last 12 months for all horses entering the showgrounds. Please have paperwork ready at the gate.

In the event of heavy rain, we announce postponements on our social channels by 6:00 AM on show day. Rain dates are typically scheduled for the following Saturday.

Are spectator bleachers free?

Is there a concession stand?

Yes. Spectator admission is completely free. Bring your lawn chairs or find a spot on our wooden bleachers to enjoy a full day of local Kentucky riding.

Absolutely. Our local kitchen serves warm breakfast biscuits, classic burgers, hot dogs, and cold drinks all day. All proceeds support our youth exhibition fund.
